My girlfriend's family is Thai, and living in Thailand. As if the language barrier wasn't enough there are so many facets of her culture I don't understand. I want to make a good impression on her family (especially the older members) because I am in love with her and one day want to marry her. I know that the family is very important in the Thai culture so I would like to have a good relationship with hers. Any Ideas on how this white boy can win them over?

Of course learning the customs so that you do not offend them or appear clueless is the easiest thing to start with. Understand how to wai. That includes who yo do it to, and how you do it to each person (there is not just one way). Know when shorts are unacceptable, know why you do not point with your feet and never do it.

To make this biggest impression though, like in any culture, start learning the language. If you love Thailand it is great and the writing looks so cool. It is difficult but not impossible. CD's, Rosetta are ok, but take a class if you can..

well of course you can't go and try to pretend you are someone you are not but you could try talking to your girlfriend and searching up thai customs so you understand more about them. www.wikipedia.com is good. You can search up thai customs and about the Thai king and such there.

Be yourself. The Thai people have so many strange customs that have nothing whatsoever to do with you! Be You! Be polite!

remove your shoes when entering a building, do not point at any person, learn to bow and "wai" correctly (place both palms together while bowing at chest level), learn to speak at least a little thai language.

why try to impress anyone? be yourself. of course look up the mannerisms so you're not rude or anything, but don't try to overly reconstruct yourself for someone else. you're you...that's what it's all about, right? :)
