Generally all babies of Australian marsupials are called joeys, just as all baby montremes are called puggles.

However young devils will sometimes be referred to as cubs.

The mom's a *****, the father's a...well, I'm not sure, and the young ones are called pups. Just like dogs.

if it's still suckling, i THINK most marsupials (including a tassie devil) are called joeys. wouldn't swear to it though.

i think they call it a joey. but i am not sure. they do call baby kangroos joey
