Lots of misunderstangs here. I'll take a crack at a couple of them:
1) Everything in the Bible is myth:
Proverbs states "the twisting of the nose produces blood" and I tried it once, gave someone a bloody nose. Okay, so not "EVERYTHING" is a myth!
2) Noah's Ark: how did he get all the critters on board?
a) Large animals: he didn't get the biggest elephants he could find, he got the smallest ones
b) It really was a big boat, and calculations show that there was ample room for the animals in question and adequate feed if you get small ones
c) The larger animals likely entered into a state of hybernation
d) Noah didn't get two of every "species" but instead got two of every kind (and five of some of them). For example, he didn't need to get two spaniels, two bulldogs, two wolves, two coyotes... he got two dogs. Same with cats, horses, bears, etc.
e) Noah didn't have to get any fish or insects, only those that have "breath in their nostrils."
3) Two versions of creation in Genesis:
Actually, there is only one version. God creates everything in Chapter 1, then in Chapter 2 he goes through and creates everything one more time (using a different method) in front of Adam so that Adam can name them.
4) The Flood is a myth
Okay, there are over 500 different flood legends all around the world. Japan has a legend that once upon a time the world flooded and a man built a boat and took his family on board to re-populate the earth. Hawaii has a similar legend. I don't have the list with me, but there are many, many such legends that all came about before the "Bible as text" was introduced to those lands.
There's a lot of evidence that supports a global flood about 4,400 years ago. The age and size of the Sarah desert, the Mississippi River Delta, the age of Niagra Falls, the age and size of the Great Barrier Reef... all point to a "younger earth" or at least some cataclysmic event about 7,000 to 15,000 years ago.
I'm also curious about the Discovery Channel documentary about "proving Noah's Ark is a myth" .. How then do we find seashells on top of Mount Everest if it wasn't underwater once upon a time?
5) Men have one fewer rib than women
Um... men don't have one fewer rib than women. Just Adam, and his body is de-composed by now so we can't really run an autopsy.
6) David and Goliath
Well, we have historical evidince outside the Bible all over about the existence of King David as a person. As for Goliath, there's no real record of him outside the Bible that I'm aware of... but remember, he got beat by a young David. However, experiments have been done about the speed and accuracy of sling weapons of the day and they would be more than adequate to fell a giant man like Goliath was reported to be.
There are records all through history of the "underdog" winning a decisive victory--from the US victory in the Spanish American War to the 1980 USA Hockey Team.
7) Adam and Eve didn't have any children besides Cain and Abel (and Seth)
Cain, Abel, and Seth were the only ones mentioned in the Bible. They lived for over 900 years without contraception, I imagine that they had a few more that weren't mentioend in the Bible.
So who'd they marry? Okay, so then they married their sisters. ICK!!! But it wasn't like anyone was there to stop them... and the laws in the Bible about that sort of stuff didn't come into effect until much later in the Bible, when an appropriate diversification of the gene pool had been developed.
All for now...

The whole book is filled with myths. Not to say that all of the history is incorrect. It's just highly embellished. Anyone who looks at the Bible and thinks it's the word of a deity is living with blinders on. Supernatural stories aside, there are so many things in the Bible that are just flat out WRONG from a scientific standpoint.

Nothing in the Bible is a Myth, I have seen people raised from the dead at my church I have seen Miracles Happened, if anything in the bible is a Myth then we all would not be here. If anyone can explain to me where we come from let me know. I chose God way i dont like the fact that I could come from a Monkey.

I think that the bible may be the truth but it has been stretched. also in the Jewish religion there are these things called midrashes which are myths about the "bible" explaining why things happened. one example of a midrash is why did they let moses be adopted by the Pharaoh. the midrash states that there was a test, where there was a pile of gold and a pile of coal. moses was set in the center to choose between the coal which meant he was an Egyptian or the gold which meant he was a Hebrew. it says that moses went for the gold but at the very last second an angle moved him to the coal and he stuck one in his mouth which gave him a speech impediment. this midrash or myth explains two things in the bible 1: why moses had Arron speak for him and 2: why the Pharaoh let him live.

noah's arc. tell me how noah got all those animals (how many species are there in the world?) on that boat? not to mention all of the other logistical problems. plus, in all of man's history, did god ever actually flood the entire world? myth for sure.
There may not have been as many species then as there are now.

I'm not Christian, so I haven't read that much of the Bible. But, I did watch a documentary on the Discovery Channel about a year ago, that proved that Noah's Ark was indeed a myth. You might be able to buy the documentary on DVD, so you can see for yourself, or just watch your local listings for reruns of the program.

Things like the creation of the world and the flood are referred to as "creation myth" and "flood myth," but only by those that don't believe it. Usually alledged scholars claim something in the bible is myth because they find similar stories in other cultures.

There are no myths, only facts as told to various writers by the Holy Spirit. Tell you what, find a myth or an error in there and get back to me.

Pretty much everything after "in the beginning".
Gimme a break.
Myths in the Bible? Lessee ... the whole world flooded. God in a perpetually smoldering shrub. The "sun stopped in the sky" to aid the Israelites in battle. Angels and knocked up "virgins" and disappearing corpses and animated undead prophets.
Nope, everything seems perfectly norbal to me.

Why is it we never hear of anyone asking if the Koran/Quran is a book of myths? Or the Book of Mormon? Or any other religious canon? Why is it that anyone will dispute the validity of the Bible but no one dares say a word against the other books?
