I believe you should use semi-gloss with mildue preventor mixed into the paint. you might want to ask to go into your local hardware store and ask if they can put the mildue preventor mix into any other paint if you choose not to use semi-gloss.

use high gloss enamel paint made for bathrooms and for moisture.

EPOXY WILL DO THE TRICK. BE VERY CAREFUL BREATHING THE FUMES THEY CAN BE DANGEROUS.
