From my experience I had a positive test but my doctor also confirmed it with an exam. My doctor told me that when a women becomes pregnant that there is alot more blood going to her cervix area to prepare for the fetus to start growing. This in turn makes your cervix have a blueish color to and when my doctor did a internal exam he could tell I was pregnant.

I don't condone blindly following a doctor because of the white coat, but their are physical changes they can identify. I think the uterus changes and can be noticed during a pelvic. I didn't learn about the begin in my classes, just the delivery.
PS you live with your body 24/7 trust your gut for all your health issues.

drs are able to tell by the size of your uterus and cervix... When the check you out internally w/their fingers.. they push on ovaries, pelvis, uterus.. what ever they check.. but I think it is the size.
But.. if your test are coming back negative you may or may not be.. some women have low hormonal levels...which do not dectect early pregnancies..
Whenever in doubt.. take care of yourself like you ARE preganant//// better to be safe than sorry!

Your uterus hardens once your pregnant from increased lining and blood flow... My doctor did the same exam and when i asked him that's what he told me... a urine test may not tell right away but a blood test is the most accurate.

If i were you i would get a second opinion. He must be damn good to be able to tell your pregnant by looking at you because physical signs don't show up unitl well into your pregnancy. Make sure by seeing someone else!

Yes, he would. Depending on how pregant you are. If its just a few days maybe not. I know that upon exam, the uterus is softer no doubt because its growing. But I know they alway boodtest anyways. Good luck

Were you given a blood test? Your blood tells everything. Maybe your pregnancy test (urine test) was too early to detect, done too early in the morning?

that's because he probably saw the thing growing inside of u as opposed to the test where it is determined by hormonal changes in the body!

Because they are really messengers for the stork... the stork tells him in advance so it makes him/her look that much more smart... at least that is what the stork told me...
