I would set up a foundation in my sons memory. My 11 day old son HUnter died of SIDS last year on Nov 28.05. So I am now heavily involved in SIds projects. Any money that I can I donate to them so no other parents have to go throught the pain of losing thier child. My 5 year old saves her allowance to donate to her Huntie.

i wouldn't like to give to charity if i had the money. i would like to go to Africa, or anywhere were people are in severe need and i would want to go there and build houses. or feed the needy. anything like that, i would like it to be a "hands on" type of product so i could help the people face to face. we'll see if i have the money some day

I'd give it to the Joslin Diabetes Center, they help people who have diabetes work out a game plan to keep their sugars under control. My father, grandfather and two nieces and nephews all have diabetes. It dramatically shortens a person's lifespan and it a horrible condition to live with. The Joslin Center is currently looking for a cure. I know I wouldn't want to give myself three shots a day, of prick my finger to test my suger 3+ times a day. Not to mention have to constantly watch everything I eat!

I give to Ronald McDonald House. I have had to stay in them because my kids were seriously ill. They do so much for families. I don't have a lot of money, but I always find a way to donate to them, even if its just the change at the bottom of my purse.

I give to local food banks, and the John 3:16 mission here in town.
One time I was homeless, hungry, so very hungry...and would
have to steal food to survive. I will never forget that desperation,
those circumstances, nor the kindness of several people who
fed me. Always give back when you can. I do.
