The concept of doing nothing is impossible. Your body is always doing 'something' so tgherefore you are technically unable to do nothing. But how can you tell when this 'stage of motion' is finished - you are inspired or tired of 'doing nothing' and start doing something DIFFERENT.

If you never started anything there is nothing to finish.
If you have started something you may not finish it in
a day, but I think for sure we can certainly see when it is
finished.

technically, you can't be doing nothing. not in the sense of absolute nothing. even by doing nothing you are doing something....it's just the opposite of something, which is nothing....which is still something. haha confusing i know. true nothingness only exists as far as we know in the confines of a scientically perfect vacuum. or in the number of zero, which means no mathematical value.

You're NEVER done when you're doing nothing :D
You just start something else, doing some thing useful maybe and then you return again to doing nothing.
It's a cycle.
