its very easy to decide to go to war when ur not on the frontline in danger of being killed or wounded. I don't think he would be so quick to call war if he had to go down there and fight without any special priviliges or bodyguards.

Why didn't anyone ask George this question when he was training in jets to fly in the Vietnam war? At some point people have to realise that the prerequisite for a leader isn't to have done everything over which he has authority. If that were the case, it would take someone about 500 years to get the proper experience to be President. When you get a work assignment, do you demand the CEO do it first?

It is easer to be foward fighting than to be the person responsible for the deaths of thoes doing the fighting. Only a person who has engaged in combat would understand this.

No, he would not fight in Vietnam he evaded it by joining the guard. He couldn't even finish that. He would not go to war so he would not call for one if he had to go to war.

I believe that he would. He strongly believes in this war because it is about protecting America from terrorists, who were supported by the Taliban in Afghanistan and by Saddam in Iraq.

Obviously not. No one is in favor of war it is a necessary evil, but should only be used as a last resort.
