Nobody ever said that the "mexicans should not be in the unites states". Many Mexicans immigrate to the United States, legally, every year and they are a major part of our country. Illegal immigrants, from any country are here illegally and therefore are breaking the laws of the United States. What part of ILLEGAL do you not understand.

My best friend is from Denmark, she got married to a service man who was horrible to her (beat her, etc.) She subsequently divorced him, but then the INS stepped in and accused her of getting married just to become a citizen. She kept a steady job, was well respected, well liked, had tons of good references. Yet, the INS rejected her application for citizenship and made her leave the country. The mexicans are pouring over our borders and don't even bother to go through the proper channels. Its not fair that someone who was an excellent citizen (learned and spoke great English, worked at a steady job, was active in her community) was thrown out of the country....and thousands of others can just come on in and do whatever. Its not that I don't think they should be in the United States, I think they should go through the exact same steps to achieve citizenship as any other person is supposed to go through. Why should they just be allowed to break the law and then break the law some more. You wouldn't be allowed to, and you are already a citizen!

There is no reason any particular citizen of any country should not be in the United States. The problem is whether they are here LEGALLY or not. If a Mexican or any other person sneaks into MY country then they should be deported immediately. If anyone wants to come and play in MY country. then do it LEGALLY!!!

There is absolutely no reason what so ever, As a matter of fact a huge population of Mexicans, were living in America Before the The so called American even got here from England. and other parts of Europe, and other parts of this world. America was not even named after an American, It was named after a foreigner. Just remember that our history and our present Constitution were also wirtten by foreigner so to speak. So please don't allow some idiots comments to stop you from being proud of who you are. Another thing to remember that a lot of evil was done in America, by these same forigner that now call themselves Americans.

"All right, immigration proposals under discussion. Let me add mine to the mix. I want to call this proposal the Limbaugh Laws.

…First, if you immigrate to the United States of America, you must speak the native language. You have to be a professional or an investor. [America is] not going to take unskilled workers…There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools, no special ballots for elections, no government business will be conducted in your native language. Foreigners will not have the right to vote…nor will they ever be allowed to hold political office.

According to the Limbaugh Laws, if you're in our country, you cannot be a burden to taxpayers. You are not entitled, ever, to welfare, to food stamps, or other government goodies. You can come if you invest here, but it must be an amount equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage. If you don't have that amount of money, you can't come and invest. You have to stay home. If you do come and you want to buy land, okay, but we're going to restrict your options. You will not be allowed to buy waterfront property in the United States. That will be reserved for citizens naturally born in this country.”

“In fact, as a foreigner, you must relinquish individual rights to property… Another thing. You don't have the right to protest when you come here. You're allowed no demonstrations, you cannot wave a foreign flag, no political organizing, no bad-mouthing our president or his policies, or you get sent home. You're a foreigner. You shut your mouth or you get out, and if you come here illegally, you go straight to jail and we're going to hunt you down 'til we find you.”

“I can imagine many of you think that the Limbaugh Laws are pretty harsh. I imagine today some of you probably are going, "Yeah! Yeah!" Well, let me tell you this, folks. Every one of the laws I just mentioned are actual laws of Mexico, today. I just read you Mexican immigration law. That's how the Mexican government handles immigrants to their country.”

That being said, I believe the USA's immigration laws are a little less strict. I have no problem with Mexcians here legally. That's fine. But if they break laws and come to the USA illegally, then there's a problem.

the united states is a country founded by settlers (immigrants to the natives). so in theory we should be open to receiving more citizens.

in practice, too much immigration puts an immediate strain on the economy, especially if the majority of the immigrants are unskilled workers.

we currently have an immigration policy that is meant to keep immigration at a pace which will allow our economy, and therefore our society, to absorb and acclimate new citizens without placing any undue burden on our welfare and socialized heath care systems. when mexicans (or any other nationality) illegally immigrate here, the system breaks down, and we see the school system, heath care system, and food stamp system taken advantage of by people who (as non-american citizens) do not technically deserve these services.

in addition, the aforementioned immigrants are often willing to work for lower wages and without governmental safety standards, and the companies who hire them are taking full advantage of that fact. if we prohibit illegal immigration, we can force these companies to pay fair wages and uphold standards because it is illegal to provide such conditions to american workers.

Why shouldn't they be? We have all kinds of people here. We have Asians, Arabs, Indians, Latinos, etc... So why does everyone pick on the Mexicans? They are not here running up our welfare system, not here killing people. They work and if that bothers other people then why don't they do the crappy jobs themselves? Our own American people are taking advantage of the welfare system, food stamps, using fema cards for stupid $hit like strippers, liquor, furs, jewelry, etc.. And they still have the nerves to put down or talk about how Immigrants( Mexicans) are here illegally and take advantage of the system. What system? They don't have the opportunities to, because of their legal status. So everyone who opens up their ignorant mouth needs to think about things before talking.

Legally, by all means. If other people of the world could make it here then wire money home...then the enfranchisement is always right-on. However, the legal means is apparently too difficult for many who live so near by that it would only be inevitable for people to head north to the promise land...
Ahem,...
Many of the border folks are criminally affiliated, this is why, I believe, the process of legal immigration is what it is truly all about, to keep those who are known as criminals and with certain ties out of the country, if, and whenever possible.
Basically.
and
That's what I am about.

I have no problems if they are here legally, but coming to our country illegally and us the tax payers paying taxes, and working hard, and then they come over mooching off the U.S. goverment, well that's our taxes paying for it. Paying for them to get welfare, and WIC, & to see a dr, and everything else. If they would come here the right way, and become citizens the right way, then that wouldn't be a problem, it's them coming across the border and hiding in the United States and mooching of the U.S. I have a problem with.
