i am so sorry about your news. i can really sympathise. i am on my 6th and final cycle of clomid and not feeling so hopeful anymore.
with regards to your partner, you may still get pregnant despite the abnormal sperm, i would discuss it with the nurse or consultant that you are under to find out if there is more you can do to increase your chances, really these tests should have been done before you started clomid to give you your best possible chance of getting pregnant. my husband had 100% abnormal sperm but that was caused by blood pressure pills which he stopped. definitely talk to the nurse though, that's what they are there for, giving advice. i wish you the very best of luck.

By abnormal, I assume you are not talking about a low sperm count. There are many different factors that make up "normal" sperm. Hard to answer a question like this without knowing the particulars, which I doubt you and he would like to advertise to the world.

In short; Ask a Doctor this question.

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive. My Doctor recommended it to me and after 1 year of trying I got the book. It worked the very next month. It turns out that my timing was wrong due to mis-information. I hope it helps you, too! It's not only about getting pregnant. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

The reasons for low sperm count has to be investigated.alocholism.drugs,smoking etc result in low sperm count. Some medicines like Speman Forte will help to increase sperm count.Even one sperm is ok it may be able to cause pregnancy. Some position during sex retaining sperms inside for long, keeping legs tight so that what is inside is not drained out may help. Both of you may see a doctor again, preferably go to an INFERTILITY CLINIC.Incidentally Homeopathy has many medicines and successful in many cases.Good Luck

Have you seen a fertility specialist? You need to go see a reproductive endocrinologist. If someone can help you, that is who can help. Perhaps and IUI or IVF will be what you need. Or, perhaps you will need to use a sperm donor. Don't give up, just find the right resources!

Priest walking along a cliff, sees a little boy crying. "What's wrong, little boy?" he asks.
"My Mummy fell over the cliff" cries the boy, "and then my daddy fell over too trying to save her, and now they're both dead at the bottom of the cliff".

"Oh dear" says the priest, lifting his cassock, "today isn't your lucky day, is it?"
