Local papers....the police report will be made available at a later date (public knowledge requirements). Contact the local fire/ambulance that responded. May not get names, but maybe some kind of info.

check the local newpaper for the area it happened in, major car crashes are normally covered. You can find old copies at librarys normally, or sometimes the paper has a web site that has archives of stories
