Bloody Sainsbury's! I got a parking violation for parking in a mother and child bay today (completely by accident, it wasn't clear that it was a mother and child parking bay) and I am doing my NUT!

I don't often park places I'm not supposed to so this was a genuine mistake.

I was in the goddamn supermarket for 11 minutes for christ sake!!! Hardly the biggest deprivation to someone who that spot is intended for!

Who else is sick of the poxy parking restrictions that are literally EVERYWHERE!

(non-drivers need not respond)

yeah, and have you noticed that the mums that do park in the "mothers and YOUNG children" bay, the kids are fricking teenagers and the mums are just too lazy to use the normal parking. then they walk into sainsburys and buy all diet food!

little hint to them, if they didn't park as close to the shop as possible and actually walked a little bit, they might not need to buy diet food! aah, makes me mad.

why do people always get life made easier just cos they have kids, tax free credit, working tax credit, do we single people get rewarded too? no, we are paying their bloody extra.

there, my little rant is over, lol.

I am. My problem is that I have a labrador and sometimes I have to take her in the car with me. All the disabled and mother and child parking places seem to be the only ones in the shade. I get some really s****y looks when I park there but my dog not over-heating is more important than some obese child who has to walk a few yards further!!

Me too! I didn't get a ticket for 20 years, then I bought a VW beetle convertable. I have had 2 speeding tickets when I was just following traffic because I have a cute car. I am 45 years old and don't drive that fast.

i'm not surprised it is one of the worst places to drive in the world London!

It's a real shame you can't file an answers abuse report, cockney!

Its does drive to the point of madness this form of petty violation... and it is petty... this is the labour administration for you in our so called democratic society...

Ya my kinda girl... just give em hell on the phone!

it was a genuine mistake, dont get yourself worked up about it, its very silly that they have these disabled/baby spaces, it is so unfair that we have to park on the other side of a carpark just because we dont have a child.
pay the fine and just make sure u more careful in the future
