How do you handle the situation - her low self confidence?
Do you try to make her feel better?
Don't you begin to feel more of pity after a while?
Can it be that your love just fades away due to this?

What to do if your gilr has low self confidence?

I agree with Ms Laura somewhat, if you have a girlfriend with a problem such as this, you can not help her by your self you have to....rather she has to want to get help for herself because you are right after a while it will put a barrier up between the two of you, and if you are a young new couple it will be really hard to handle yourself.
I am not a guy and I do apologize for answering this question but, I thought it would be helpful to hear from the point of a female who has been through it in her life time before.
I will say one thing and that is it,
If you do really care about her don't leave her because you feel like it's a pity thing, if it is too much to handle tell her that she needs some help that you can't fix with a "You are pretty, so, so so, pretty"

This is a really tough question. The first thing you have to ask is what kind of guy falls for a girl with low self-confidence? I see this two ways. If the guy also has low self-confidence he will take the opportunity to make himself feel better by treating the girl badly and then tell her it's her fault. Or If he is confident maybe he see a spark in her which no one else does. And then he will think of creative ways to help her develop more confidence.

I think a lot of guys who are attracted to women with low self confidence are with them because they can be easy to control. That's not always the case though. Sometimes I'm attracted to girls with issues (the same way I'm attracted to a cute puppy dog with a hurt foot) but it usually doesn't work out. People need to care for themself before they can carry a healthy relationship. Nobody should want to live their life completely dependent on someone else.

It can be a challenging, but very rewarding experience for you, depending on how you approach it. I would encourage her at every opportunity, and always tell her she looks nice. Tell her she has pretty eyes, hair, etc, and that she smells nice too. Praise her efforts to try new things, especially if they're difficult to do, and when she succeeds at something, make sure she knows you're proud of her. She will appreciate you, and consequently, fall in love with you too. Good Luck!!

Although you can try to boost her self confidence - this truly is an inside issue - she has to be the one to make the inner changes - pity only leads to bitterness!

why not? what's wrong with that? as long as you love the person as who she is and the low self confidence might just be the reason why you're together. see? look at it from a better way. you might exactly who she needs..

If you're asking this, don't bother. It's too much for you to handle.
