I have a burning question I need to know how many of you out there support the president in what he has done for our country? In my opinon how is he gonna go over to some other country and fix their problems when we got problems right here and to he is sending all our jobs away. I can't support a man like that he is helping the rich get richer and the poor get poorer

I think people who believe he's a good man haven't been paying attention.
How "good" is it to favor political party over the economic and social good of the majority? How "good" to promote legislation that institutionalizes discrimination against citizens? How "good" to repeat lies in order to cause the deaths of thousands of US citizens?

He is a good man, and will go down in history as keeping America from other attacks. We should be grateful that more Americans had the maturity and sense enough to vote for him over any of his opponents, twice. I was concerned that America had lost its will to survive, but I was thankfully proved wrong in '04.
Otherwise we'd all be sitting on pins and needles hoping that Al Qaeda wouldn't figure out how to set off the nuclear weapons they just acquired from the ruling Taliban by way of Pakistan, Russia, or China. If that were the case, John Kerry no doubt would be inviting Bin Laden over for brunch and kissing his you know what, begging forgiveness and offering to put off the nuclear attack.
Luckily Bush has the guts to seek out those that want to destroy this great country, no matter where they live, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Libya, or right here at home.
Common sense. Something in very short supply in recent years.

About the Hurricane, He sent out troops to help. It was the Governor that delayed it. Get your facts straight!. He's a good man and he's doing the best he can while every one makes fun of him. He has a hard job. While I don't agree on every thing he's doing, it's not all that bad. Cut him some slack. Running this country is not a walk in the park. All the problems we have are left overs from the Clinton and Bush Sr.'s administration. Bush didn't do all of this by him self. The thing with Iraq is Clinton's problem shoved in to Bush's lap when he took office. Clinton could of solved the problem yet he decided to cut our military in half. A lot of my friends lost their jobs when he closed all those bases. Some of the blame is on Clinton. You can't put all this on Bush when Clinton helped. Wake up people!!!!

I think he is a good man and a better than some president. One thing a good president should do is have good PR. The president can't have an answer to all challenges to his charactor. He wouldn't have time to administrate. Think of it. That's what the President does... administrate. He doesn't run the country, the States do and his subordinates do. He and Congress just say aye or nay to new proposals.

He is a horrible president! And I highly doubt that he's a decent man, either. A decent man shows compassion for other human beings. Bush doesn't care about the starving people in our country, the homeless people, and he cut funding for programs helping women and children, and victims of crimes. This does not equal a good man.

I agree with you 100%. Why should we worry about Iraq when there's so much that needs to be settled in this country. We were in Iraq for one reason...to get Saddam and look for weapons of mass destruction. Now we're there to help those people get their country back together and to help them set up some type of government. US? Trying to help someone else set up a government! I don't think so! Is President Bush a good man? Who knows. A good presdent? I think that speaks for itself!!

I just love it when I come across a question like this. You ask for our opinion on the President and then you go ahead and give us yours and usually it's just so they can get on their soap box and *itch about Bush. Besides this question is really an opinion and neither a question or an answer.
