I was surfing around the site and realized that if one asks a question pertaining to god or allah, whatever; that the bible thumpers are so quick to jump down your throat and judge you? They come off with the "you are going to hell!" crap and alot of them put you down. I thought being 'close to the lord' was supposed to make you a better person? Why is it you see them being the rudest alot of times? I didn't see alot of atheists or agnostics hanging around to tell them how horrible they are whenever they ask a question so why do they feel they must?

Before you bible borgs start jumping down my throat remember, you are supposed to love everyone.

Consider this, everyone thinks they are right. That's why people argue. Some folks not only think they are right but won't even consider the idea that they could be wrong. Now add to that the idea that God is always right and they feel that God is on their side. Well that makes them not only "always right" but better than you (in their eyes). Even though they will say they are not better than you, they have the "I'm a winner" attitude cause the bible told them so. And we all know that the winner is the better player. So they have won before the game has ended. Or so they believe.

The "Question Itself," is Creating Negative Feelings. "BIBLE BORGS?"
"FANATICS," BIBLE THUMPERS?" That's Why. How are we supposed to Respond to that..."BLESS YOU MY CHILD"????????? I DON'T THINK SO. Even JESUS HAD GUTS! In my Opinion, only reason you put this Question on here, is to attract "NEGATIVE RESPONSES." Christians do not go around "Pouring Out Love," while they are being "Put Down." The Bible says not to Force the word on Anyone. God wants you to come to Him on your Own, so therefore, you just let people go on their way, if they are Not Interested. Your last statement** sounds REALLY "STUPID," and... I don't believe that telling someone that they are going to Hell, is appropriate, by the way. Don't put "ALL" Christians in a Catagory. Christians are Individuals, that have been living on Earth, same as Anyone...Some, Trying to do what's Right, some Not. Some Thinking that they are doing what's Right, and Not Being Aware that they Aren't...To Get Respect, you have to Give It.
Also, just because a person "says" that they are a Christian, doesn't mean that they Always are. Don't Judge Christianity, as a "Whole," by Mere Humans...Christians Aren't "Flawless." Most of the time, They Really Do "Mean Well."

Somehow, to me, it seems like, so many times,
just the mere "Mention" of God, makes people Angry...Why?
Why Do People Want To Reject God Anyway? You were Born, to Live this Life. You are Going To Leave This Life. Don't You Want To Live Again? It's NOT A FAIRYTALE. IF YOU DON'T, THEN YOU ARE NOT HURTING ANYONE, BUT YOU.

The main reason is that we're very quick of judging other people instead of judging themselves. It's that carnal nature that dwells within us since we were born. Also they're focusing majority of their time to find any kind of fault or some sort of bad doing in that person's life by exposing it to the world not only making that person look bad, but to also ruining their lives physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, financially, etc. Whatever that person do in their lifetime (either positive or negative), it's not our place to judge & condemning other people, that's God's doing. We can help them out by warning that individual before it's too late (but we have to do that out of love, which is from the spirit being), but not scorning, badmouthing, or harassing them in any sinful way by trying to making the accuser feel good about themselves.
Whoever judge another person will also be judged by the Creator when its that time. That comment that we should all remember. Thank you for your question and peace out.

Religion is very important to us. Usually rude answers are provoked by the questioner. If the question was rephrased in a polite manner then ,maybe people would not respond in a horrible way.

I agree with you that yes we should be more patient, and maybe one day these people will turn to God also.

I haven't' found that to be true. Besides the atheist fundamentalists give their fare share of nasty retorts. I think the key word here in your question is "fanatics". People who simply cannot abide that someone else may have a differing opinion than what they hold.

God's got a great sense of humor. If you don't agree look at the person sitting next to you.

Fanatics are god little inside joke. Don't pay them no stock, Jesus wouldn't.

Fanatics are religious jerks. They need religion, because without religious they just be plain ol jerks.

Religious fanatics, as you call them are human and get tired of the remarks about their beliefs too. Everyone is entitled to there own opinions. None believers always have remarks to believers so whats the difference?

I'm opposed to opposition also, and I have sympathy for those people, who force you to bow down to their ego(religion).
"Satan" should be the icon for that sort of forcefulness.
Poor religious bullies don't even realize that they are missing out on the freedom of knowing God.

Maybe it's because you use demeaning terms like "bible thumper".

Ask a question, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
