Though i am a cricket freak, but i know the reality that cricket can never be an alternative for the ever-mighty and energetic cousin of it - football.

according to me no cricket fans are less only to a small limit but the football fans are based all over the world . eg cricket is followed by large audience in india not that much in USA but football is followed by both india as well as USA.

obviously not. most of the teams in world play football. there are so many countries which play football as well as cricket.entire south america is mad about this game
football's popularity cant be compared to any other game.

nothing complicated in rules cricket is simpler compared to tennis and other games,cricket is too boring, fan will diminish further, only pakistan, srilanka and india have cricket as main sports in their country ,

it can happen if:

1) cricket spreads among nations of africa, america.
2)rules are made less complex
3)it is promoted at school level
4) last but not least, shorter versions like 20-20 are introduced.
