I don't know whether this would be an extraordinarily bad idea or not. How do I bring this up with him?

the only way to find out is to ask him at a relaxed time when you are just talking about other things.
1) he may not want to, considering it not something he is interested in doing. depends how his fantasies go.
2) it runs the risk of him becoming attracted to the other woman and visa versa.
3) it may be all that your fantasies have made it to be.
4) remember that fantasies are still fantasies as long as they are not acted upon. some are great for thoughts while making love to your husband but are only thoughts.
5) have you thought fully how you would feel afterwards? no jealousy?
6) if it is decided, make sure the ground rules are set up ahead of time about how it would work. discuss details, if he is interested of how it would work.

Man are you for real? Most guys' fantasy is to do this - but then again that's not the question is it? Generally, a male, if asked this will (should) jump to attention. However, experience has shown that it is perhaps not a good thing and can lead to an emotional link with the third person which could then lead to complications in a marriage.

That woudl depend on your relationship. I knew the couple once that followed similar scenario. It worked well and they both were very happy. It developed in to a full time swing. Unfortunately, husband started paying more attention to his swinging partners than to his wife (or maybe she found out sex was better with other men, who knows). It fell apart after 2 years.

Before you do this ask yourself can you stand the idea of seeing him with another woman. If you really can then tell him in a non-threatening way that you would like to discuss your fantasies. Tell him yours, as if it were just a fantasy be descriptive,judge his reaction then go from there.
Do it at night while you're in bed that way you can really tell how he reacts to the fantasy, if you know what I mean.

Sounds like you are exploring your sexuality and are curious about "out of the box" sex which is normal. I am inclined to think he would be into it but be prepared for all sorts of different emotions emerging watching your husband with someone else.

Well I mean if you are kinky like that go a head, but I warn you if you allow once with your supervision he may think it would be okay to do it more often and may start cheating. Well I take that back...don't do it! Its plan wrong. Thats like him asking you to have sex with a man whule he watches....are you okay with that? Think about the choices he may start making later in the future if that kinky event would happen!
