I don't understand why more people aren't embarrassed by their obvious poor spelling and grammar skills?
Why won't people take the time to at least use the spell check if they are too lazy to use a dictionary?
Have we become that nonchalant about the image we present to others? And if so ... why is this happening in our sociey?

The curse of the spell checker society...why learn to spell if the computer will check it for you? Ahhh then you type a question and the spell check isn't there ;-)

Others want to be the first to answer a question and in those few seconds they might not make it so they just skip a step.

It's silly but I actually get small little boost of ego when spell check doesn't find any mistakes lol

I can see other languages being posted as a problem but not spelling, I think it's up to the individual if they want to push the spell check button or not. Would you get mad at your friends or family if they sent you emails with mispelled words? Doubt it. You would just ignore it and answer them back. So why is it such a big deal on here? Cuz they are strangers and you feel like *itching? If the question is totally not readible (sp? lol) then move on.

it takes longer than 15 seconds for my computer.

we are time obsessed, we want 'more' rather than 'better' and so we dont waste time checking things we just move on.

Maybe it's because they know that they'll never see these people in life and they don't care. Like myself!!
