Terrorism is not a foreign country...how can a war be waged against an idea?

Wars between countries involve territory. Thus, there can be a definative winner if one's troops and or land are conquered. An ideaology cannot be shot, jailed or fought with physically...it can only be conquered by competing ideas. Have we been fed the biggest war propaganda line ever? Like the "war on drugs" or "the war on poverty" there is no end in sight.

u are so right and the worst part that is they are trying to convince us they are winning the war. against who exactly? or can isay what?
who is terrorist in their eyes? is he the one who occupied country claiming to achieve democracy? or who defend his country against foreigner armies ?or who blow himself up in civilians? or drop bomb on civilian on hadithaa?

When terorism is inside a country, the country got a cancer, and the chimiotherapy against cancer, to be sure to control the expension of this cancer it's education ! So the only way to kill the cancer, to, at least, control the cancer, it's by inversion in education, helping poor people (economicaly or brainly) to respect the others, and, for sure, to help the rich to allow a part of the national revenue to develop possibility for the rich. That's the only way to kill this cancer in long term. In short term, it's to get the poeple and keep this people in jail.

find and jail the proponents of violence..sounds easy...but its NOT... or..u can go destroy the leader of a country who insulted your daddy and spend billions trying to imploment a new form of govmt the locals dont even undestand, while watching your soldiers get blown up, a few at a time...and turning the world against you
