Sleep on your side is the best way. You can also try breath right strips. In sevier cases adnoid removal is practiced and use of sleep apnea machines. See your doctor if it is real bad. If you are overweight it makes it worse.

I am the partner who snores. Flipping, waking up, ear plugs...all don't work. I had a sleep study done and found out I have sleep apnea, a potentially dangerous condition. I have a CPAP machine now which prevents the apnea and also stops the snoring. Have your partner check into this.

It sounds like sleep apnea to me. Go to a sleep clinic and they will probably put you on a CPAP machine which will stop the snoring.

Get checked for sleep apnea if the snoring is really bad. You can try over the counter strips that hold your nose open, also.

If its not very serious illness causing it try this- in any drug store they sell those "breathe easy" strips that go on your nose and are usually used for cold when you have congestion. But you can use them for that too-they helped my bf with his snoring.
