A friend of mine said that he dials *67. This he says will block a persons telephone number. One might also call the telephone company to see what they suggest. I hope the you don't want to block your number to do anything illegal. With all of the modern technology these days. Legal authorities have a way of figuring out these types of situations. In the USA, the normal method is to dial *67 before you place your call. I think that this has to be re-done each time you place a call you want to block. Also, I would test it by calling a number where you can see the caller-id, to verify your carrier uses this code. If not, contact your carrier and they will be able to tell you.

In NY its *80 to block it
And *82 to unblock it
But im pretty sure it doesnt work on cell phones.
