For the same reason our political system is worse, because the American people have been sedated and most don't care enough to find out the truth! They have know idea what Mr.Bush and his Nazi regime has done to this country and very little interest in the coming Illuminated events. Hell, we deserve it!!!!!

I don't agree with you. I've been exposed to the legal system all too much! I'm not a lawyer- I just get myself into situations that result in Court Dates, Arrests, Motions, Filings, Letters to Judges, Requests for Jury Trials, etc. The legal system here in the US is actually great. One can appeal, request that a Judge or Lawyer be removed from a case, etc. Yes, The Law can be complicated... Case in point... Several years ago... I tossed a peice of gravel up to a second floor window to wake a friend up ( I thought it was a friend)- She was coming down from a deep night of excessive partying, Coke, XTC, Booze and who knows waht else... I just wanted my camera back from her that I lent her- She freaked out and called the Police... They wrote that I was "Ejecting Deadly Missiles" thats what they call tiny pebbles... no glass was broken and nobody got hurt! Anyway, I did community service 'cause I was at bthat time afraid to go to Jury Trial, The Judge scared me by saying that I'd be facing 36 years in Prison if and upon conviction. The legal system is great, Just Stand your Ground and Fight. Lawyers are not necessarily smarter than others, they just know the ropes and the forms to file....

Because the laws are made by politicians, most of whom were lawyers in their former lives. And no one can take a simple sentence like "hello" and turn it into a complicated mess that no one else can understand like a lawyer can. Since our laws were written by lawyers, no one else can understand them. And the Supreme Court, whose job it is to interpret, well they were all lawyers too. So their answers don't make any more sentence to the ordinary lay individual than the questions did. Get it?
