Toby Keith is NOT as good as he once was - he is so much better. And I DID like the Dixie Chicks - however, for being so "intelligent" they sure do keep making stupid comments - I cannot stand them anymore - won't listen to them and no longer buy any product whose company sponsors their tours. This is my FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION - just as was theirs for opening their big fat mouths - they are just like the rest of the Hollywood crowd - think because they are celebrities they can chew on our President, our patriotism (read todays articles on them) and then get mad when they do this? Hollywood box offices are in a slump - Dixie Chicks ticket sales are slow - GET A CLUE - the chicks and hollywood are NOT supported by the majority - and their albums are NOT selling as much as claimed - I have a relative managing a large well known chain of stores - she said their sales are horrible throughout the chain - typical of the Chicks and the media trying to put on a favorable spin (or lie) and as far as their comments about McCarthy - he was right - Hollywood is FULL of communists - woops - sorry, PROGRESSIVES - have a nice day.

don't know where you got this info, but you are way off! I have heard several people in music industry that say the dixie chicks are all but dead. no one supports or condones their crap. Yes they do have a right to their opinion, but the patriotism of our country & our military is the ONLY reason they have that right. I personally would love for those bitches to go spend 1 month in a country like Iraq. I bet they would be singing a different tune! Personally, I have a 20 year old son in the United States Marine Corp & the pride & "Patriotism" in our house is through the roof!!!. I personally will never support the Dixie Chicks, or any of their sponsors in any way, shape or form! I wish they would just stay abroad & the World would just forget about them completely! God bless George W Bush, Toby Kieth, our armed forces. & GOD BLESS AMERICA! Semper Fi !

nicely, u . s . a . would not pick who wins the Grammys. The Recording Academy does. So of route, the RA likes the Dixie Chicks very a lot. us of a radio nevertheless has no longer forgiven them. We pay interest to a us of a radio station at artwork and they don't have to any extent further all started to point them triumphing some thing. i appreciate us of a music, yet I hate how slender-minded its followers are. the total Dixie Chicks component were given blown way out of percentage. people bash President Bush on a daily basis, yet they don't look to be left to loaf round to dry. that is ridiculous. They spoke their opinion, and that i imagine that's a captivating component. what's there to forgive???? I loved them till now and that i appreciate them nevertheless.

I think its the other way around 3/4 DOES NOT support the Dixie Chicks. Country music appeals to the "good old" boy, Grandma's, and hard working people. The DC's insulted them by the comment they made. While I agree they are talented (and not bad looking either!). You as a celebrity have to be very careful as to what you say. And they continue to make comments and "not make nice". Best just to let it go and get on with what ever musical genre they decide to pursue. Whether it be country or pop-rock.

First of all what does disliking the Dixie Chicks have to do with thinking the south won? Confused me a bit there. Another thing-Toby didn't ruin their career, Natalie Maines is responsible for that. Sure freedom of speech gives her the right to stand in England while the US is on the brink of war and talk bad about Bush, and freedom of speech gives American citizens the right to tell her we aren't interested in her politics, and that she just nailed the lid on her career coffin. You respect the President simply because he is the leader of our country, and he deserves that much. And no, Toby's sales aren't as good as theirs on a record to record basis, but if you think about it, he does have something they don't: a wide fan base and longevity. Natalie Maines ended her career in 2003, deal with it.

3/4 of the country support The Dixie Chicks...the other quarter supports Bush! Myself, I wouldn't buy an album by either! Politics and music DON'T MIX...if he was still alive, you could ask John Lennon, whose double protest album "Sometime In New York City" nearly destroyed his career AND artistic credibility (and not just because he had Yoko Ono on it!)

OMG! WHAT PLANET ARE YOU FROM?
Yes, there is freedom of speach but there is also the fact that you back your president up no matter what, especially on foreign soil. You don't turn your back on him. You need to check yourself. The Chic's have no class. They belong on the black list!

More like 1/4 of America. Their a group of very stupid girls. No apologies to them. If they want to get up a sing its fine, but I don't want to hear their political views.
