I'd love to hear their voice....makes me visualize them much clearer than a simple text. There is just something to be said about the sound of ones voice.

I'm an older & somewhat more practical man. If I was still a youngster with a limited vocabulary or had social interactive skills that were still 'in the basement' or, like most animals in the wild, had a fear of the closeness that comes from interpersonal communication, I would attempt to text but if I really wanted to type my messages all the time, I would just forgo ever driving again & lug my laptop around since I have big fingers & even bigger hands. Texting is just so childish to me & other adults like me (the mature variety) that we are all a little disconcerted by the idea of getting a phone Just so you can type!

If it's something simple, I text. If it's something major and I got to really get my point across I'm calling you. I love texting though. It saves minutes and mine's is free, No matter how much I text. I love it.

I would rather call if I need info right away, otherwise texting is fine.

I hate phone calls, I hate emails.
I like messenger and texts, quick...easy and to the point.

However I like to talk to a significant other on the phone...

I think text-ing is easier and faster, so text.. :)

but you've gotta admit it's quite frustrating when you anticipate a reply and you've got none..
