no, it wont hold. And you end up buying a tire anyway.

Yes a sidewall on a radial tire can be repaired depending on the size of the hole. I had a tire shop for over 20 yrs and did quiet a few sidewall repairs.
Many places will tell you no because they do not have the proper sidewall patches. You can not use a regular patch to do this.

Not safely.
Once the sidewall has been penetrated the integrity of the tire is lost. Side pressures are too great for a patch to hold and even if it looked like it will, a blowout at highway speed isn't pretty.

OSHA, & DOT.....it is against the law to patch or plug a side wall of a tire, and if it is 1/2 inch from the side on the top of the tile, it is against the rules too

hay dont even think about it. it is very dangerous to drive a car which has a repaired tyre from sidewall . sorry

not only is it not good but most any shop will not do it because of the risk of the tire blowing out.
