it depends on the mood I'm in.
If you want thrill roller coaster type rides, then I highly suggest six flags. I usually go to Magic Mountain because they have a large variety of rides. But I've been to many of the six flags across the country and am noticing that the rides are starting to become generic and they are taking down the older rides. In a few years, it wont matter what six flags you go to, they'll all have the same rides.
If you want classic, theme style rides, then i suggest disneyland or disneyworld. Theres a lot more to do in disneyworld, but its a lot more expensive. Disneyland is a good choice to spend a day in. Disneyworld is so large that you need to spend a couple days there. Which requires a lot more $$$. But both places were a lot of fun. Both parks overlap a little bit, but a lot of the rides, even though they have the same name are different.

The best park? Gotta be Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio! The most coasters anywhere in the world! How can you get better than that? Not to mention, the view over Lake Erie at the top of a rollercoaster hill? Nothing else like it in the world.
However, one of the best coasters is the Thunderbolt at Kennywood in Pittsburgh. If you like wood coasters, it's a must-ride. It uses the natural terrain. I don't want to ruin the surprise for anyone who hasn't ridden it, but if you're anywhere near the 'burgh, you must go.

I hate to say it as I have done work for Disney but the Universal Orlando parks get my vote ( although they could have combined all the cool stuff in 1 park and the not so cool stuff another)
