Oooooooook... PEOPLE... 10-12 days? Come on! Hun, it is possible to get pregnant at ANYTIME during the month. Including when you are on your period.
What these girls are talking about with the 10-12 or 10-14 day thing is you have a higher chance of getting pregnant 10-14 days after your period. Every other day it's completely possible (this happend to a friend of mine actually), its just a lower chance then the 10-14 days after your period.
Use protection ALL the time please.
Hope this helped. :)

if your period is REGULAR and every 28 days, then 14 days after, you will be the most vulnerable to getting pregnant (figure that semen can live for 2-3 days your time could also be at 11-12 days). If your periods are 30 days, then 15. If your periods are irregular...good luck.

You can get pregnant at any time that you are not menstruating. The most fertile times are 10-14 days after your period. This is when you're ovulating. During the ovulation period, you have 3 days when the eggs are released specifically for fertilization. This is when you want to be the most careful, or not if you're trying to get pregnant.

Generally, there is a fertility window of five days before and five days after a period. If you are under 30, though, your cycle can change at any time (unless you're on the pill) and an egg can be released at any time.
Basically, if you don't want to get pregnant, you must always use a condom and one other form of birth control.

You can only get pregnant while you are ovulating and that happeneds for only 24 hours, but our female bodies secret what is called cervical mucus that helps aid the sperm to get to the egg and stay alive to wait for the egg. So alot more than ovulating goes into it. It depends when you have sex during your preovulation cycle - it could be even 2 days before you ovulate and the sperm lives in your vagina waiting for this egg to fertilize. I watch my cervical mucus to know when i ovulate. But it seemes to be a pattern like- week 1 period week 2 no period - not fertile week 3 no period but fertile time - ovulate during this week week 4 no period to fertilize egg (if had sex) to get period or don;t get period hence pregnant I am not a doctor or nurse so this info may not be absolutely perfect it's just my understanding of what i've read and my experience. Good luck

You can ovulate durning your period, so you can get pregnant durning your period. Experts say that on the average cycle (28 days) , the 14th day is the day you typically ovulate. For me, I ovulate anywhere from day 7 to day 14. That is a wide range since I want to try getting pregnant with a girl someday. Your body will have many symptoms, but you can get a ovulation kit at the store. Walmart I think is the cheapest and most positive outcome. Good luck.
