We live by perceptions either in the spiritual, natural or physical seance of it, consequently, knowing the right from the wrong is a function of your perception of the person you are considering in your mind. Why because the person your perception considers to be wrong may invariably be the right person to another. There is no absolute wrong or right person. You can determine who is right or wrong by changing your perception of the person. Therefore to know who is right person to you will be a function of what you perceived of the other person.
