Jeans and white shirt would be damn comfortable. It will satisfy the lot who consider white as a sobar colour and those who are westernised jeans is the ultimate answer. Coooooooooooooool man just wear in which you are most comfortable without thinking and breaking your head for the grotesque fashions.

Wear an outfit of your favourite LOTR character. Trust me. It will make you very popular on your first day.
Failing that, a Darth Vader costume (complete with deep voice effect) is always a crowd pleaser.

What do you feel comfortable in? Wear that. No one is going to be looking at what you're wearing. This is college, not high school. Be yourself and be comfortable.
