Needless to say, i've not seen most of the episodes, but there's always been something between Grissom and Sarah. And in the season finale this year they seemed pretty 'together', did that happen a while ago or are they still leading up to it?

When they first created Sara's character, it was to be a love interest for Grissom, but as time went by they would show some aspects then at the same time never actually go there you know? But both Jorja Fox (Sara) and Billy Peterson (Grissom) have said they would like to see something happen there, I know I read somewhere that Billy hopes to kiss her once before the series was over.
New the beginning of the show you saw them flirting a lot, but then Grissom pulled away a lot around the time his hearing was going, and since her near DUI and the events of season 5 you could see them bringing the two back together it was just a point where you were going well... show us something already if you're going to do it. The season finale of season 6 did show them together talking about death in what had to be some body's house, or perhaps a motel even... Grissom was very relaxed and comfortable while Sara was doing something in the bathroom and came out wearing a robe. It wasn't necessarily sexual but did scream of an intimate relationship - at least to my opinion.
All of this is just my opinion on the matter though, but I hope it did help.

I believe that she has had a thing for him for quite some time. I think that he was just there. They are getting 'together' is my belief. Grissom did have a thing for Catherine a while back but that seems to have changed. Not he is starting to like Sarah and they are just starting.

CSI's been hinting at something there for awhile now, but nothing overt. I have the feeling this is just the beginning for the two.
