JELLY......CUZ JAM DON'T SHAKE LIKE THAT!

2006-06-15 01:11:21 · answer #1 · answered by SASSY 2 · 7 6

Jelly - because jam has these nasty little bits and pieces from the original fruit in them. And commercially amde jam may even contain things like sawdust. I cannot understand why anyone would want to eat that stuff. So I make my own jelly every year. It's really easy and it tastes gorgeous. Plus the fruit I use is I get for free as there are blackberries growing everywhere around where I live...

You're being cheeky, you know Americans do have Jam (strawberry jam) and Jelly (jam), because I got confused when someone on an American programme asked for Jam so I asked an American what Jam was.
Anyway ummm Jelly of course, wibble wobble, wibble wobble, jelly on a plate.

Jam! Jelly is the wobbly stuff on a plate.

Need to have proper jam and raspberry ham has to have seeds in.

I call it Jam.
Preserves is a better term but definitely not jelly!
