Do you like to wear knee socks or over the knee socks? If so why do you like them and what do you wear them with?

I definitely do not wear over-the-knee socks, they're very uncomfortable for me. I do wear knee socks, because I often wear short/mid-calf skirts and most of them look better with socks on than without (I wear patterned socks to dress up the outfit and better match it).

I love knee high socks, especially my purple stripy ones, they go so well with my big black boots...
