I was not even born, when the movie was first released in 1964. But thanks to my dad, who had bought a Videotape version, got to see it - and promptly fell in love with the English language !
...And now, I am the proud owner of a DVD version - to watch whenever I feel like it, which is quite often : Both Prof Higgins and Eliza Dolittle are unforgettable characterisations - though my Dad tells me, that the original Eliza [in the stage version, which he saw on Broadway] played and sung by Julie Andrews, was by far better !
....Incidentally, though Audrey Hepburn is a fabulous actress, all her songs in the film were actually sung by Marnie Nixon.

I like the movie, but what I really enjoy is every few years one of the high schools will choose that as their Spring Musical. It's fun to watch the high school kids perform plays like this.

I love the music, but the film seems too long. Audrey Hepburn is always a joy to watch, however.

I liked it im a big fan of Audrey Hepburn but I think the end could have been better. He could have given her a hug instead of just sitting in his chair.

i've seen it, i didnt like the ending too much though. it was kinda sexist for me. "roman holiday" is my favorite Audrey Hepburn movie of all.
