I usually play some old music, like 30-40s jazz, or raggae when I'm happy & when I'm sad I play rock

When I'm happy, I'll listen to just about anything, but when I'm sad, I try to play music to cheer me up, because I don't want to become too depressed!

I tend to play stuff like Bob Dylan or CSNY when I'm happy (mellower folky type stuff in other words) and stuff like late period Beatles, classic Stones or Led Zeppelin (good classic rock) when I'm sad because it never fails to perk me up!

And when im sad i listen to Green Day but put it on really loud that always cheers me up.

I only listen to Hard house , Techno , Trance , Hardcore ( not the metal type but the dance type ie scott brown , sharky , kev energy , k-complex ) basicly stuff no one hears . I listen regardless of my mood its uplifting and euphoric .

I listen to killers, razorlight, keane etc. when happy and when I'm sad I don't normally listen to music.
