Budgeted hotel in Shimla / Solan / Barog ?

I want to visit Solan/ Shimal / Barog during 18th june to 24th june. please tell me about budget hotel. I shall be travelling by car from Delhii

Both Solan and Barog don't have much of the accommodation to offer to visitors, however there are a few hotels on the highway itself. And all these hotels are extremely budgeted hotels as long as the accommodation in Shimla is not full. The moment news of heavy rush and hotels full in Shimla spread, these hotels no more remain budgeted. If you have car with you, you can search and stay even some distance up or down.

Shimla has many budgeted hotels but your time of travel is such that it would be the peak tourist time. It would be a tough call to make getting reasonable accommodation during this time, inspite of many budgeted hotels in Shimla.

1.Hotel Dreamland- (ph: 206897) -around Lakkar Bazar area.
2. Hotel Fontaine Bleau - near western end of the Mall, around SBI.
3. Hotel Kohinoor- Cart Rd. (ph: 202008)
4. YMCA/ YWCA- beside Ritz cinema (ph: 250021)
5.Hotel White- Lakkar Bazar (ph: 255276)
6. Hotel Doegar (208527)-Christ Church- good view.
7. Spars Lodge (257908)- good food, colonial charm, near state museum.
