Iran is an independent country and has the right of continuing its nuclear program if it desires so. However, as part of the Atomic International Organization, it should allow international inspectors to monitor their facilities to inspect the purpose of their nuclear program. Iran practically broke with this organization and claims its nuclear program is peaceful. However, based on its President speeches, the development of launching metthodologies for a potential bomb and the way they reacted towards the Atomic International Organization, more likely, they may be heading towards the construction of a nuclear bomb.

Iran is a signatory to Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty (NPT). This treaty forbids any member, other than USA, France, UK, China & Germany to carry out nuclear programme withou inspection from International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA, so as to ensure that member country's programmes do not lead to it becoming a nuclear arms country. Iran has been conducting its nuclear programs in conravention of NPT. Hence the worldwide outcry, since it is suspected that Iran's prgrammes are military in nature rather than civilian.

Why do people use the term 'right' in this instance? It has no meaning. There is no international police force or international court or international government that will take Iran into custody, process it for fingerprints and bring it to trial with international prosecutors and international defense lawyers and argue about the international constitution and bill of rights. 'Right' and 'illegal' have no meaning when talking about sovereign nations.

As a sovereign nation, Iran can do whatever it chooses. But choices have consequences. And other sovereign nations can choose to oppose it and exert pressure to force Iran to choose differently. They can even attack Iran if they choose.

That is the way of the world, not this schoolyard 'rights' and 'illegal' and other simplistic idiocies.
