You should make a break for it, but leave behind some donuts. That way you have more time to make your escape as the cops can't resist the lure of donuts.

Dude true story.....had a roomate that "moved out". Turns out he was writting bad checks with some other dirty deeds. Well late one night a hard knock came at the door at a rightfully so paranoid time in my life. I answer the door with a .45 in one hand and a .380 in the other aimed and open for business. I'm looking down the sights at two sherrifs looking for you know who. It was not pretty atleast to whomever had to do their pants. The went diving into the bushes while drawling...it was great.

Don't open fire unless you want them to shoot back. I say eat your donuts then call them pigs as you run past them to the nearest Krispy Kreme. They'll forget about you and get their own donuts.
