is it because the people are good in peaceful countires that they are so. And are the people of countries like Iraq, Afghan bad.

Can you blame just the rulers or should the whole society be blamed?

Tradition. Countries, just like the people that run them, get into cycles. Cycles of happiness, wealth and also hatred and poverty. It takes people a while to change individual attitudes, likewise with nations with many people.

Other countries like Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran have big problems because their social and religious structures are different. It's NOT because the people in these places are "bad."

Blame shouldn't be placed at all.

Instead, an understanding of their cultural "genetic code" and societal mores can offer insight to their motivations.

It's always dangerous and short-sighted to judge an entire society by its worse aspects.

I am American and I will tell you the truth.
Iraq,Afghanistan,Iran & Syria are only a problem and currently in the the cross hairs of American power because they area a major threat to Israel and Israel controls American foreign policy.None of the current wars or future planned wars in the middle east are wars for for U.S. security but rather for Israeli security. If you want to be awakened for the first time then read what Professors from Harvard Unversity J.F.K. school of Government and the Department of Political Science of the University of Chicago had to say on the truth about Israeli corruption and spying on America. Why is it that 0 Iraqi or Iranian spies have ever been arrested in America but since 9/11 over 220 Israeli spies have been arrested in America. You only hear a little about it because every major news organization in America is controlled by pro-Israel bosses.
Type in on Yahoo:
Walt and Mearsheimer,The Israel lobby and U.S.foreign policy.
If you are smart and not scared of the truth you soon will learn that the world is not altogather what you thought it was.Don't email me back and say you don't believe that Israel controls our foreign policy until you read the papers because after you read it you won't email me back and say that. Also,if you recieve any emails rejecting what I say it is because Yahoo Answers is haunted by Israeli zionists who (I guess) are paranoid and scared to death of any exposure of Israeli crimes and corruption.Their power is like a giant house of cards.Too many people learn about it and it falls. So they do everything they can to cover it up including slandering and calling racist names to people who expose them.

Over the course of history, every country has had social problems, including violence. The USA is generally a peaceful nation but we have our share of rapes, murders, and violence.

Society evolves as its people do. Countries where people are oppressed, poor, hungry, poorly educated, etc... are more prone to violence. But that does not make its people "bad."

I can make a huge argument that the US is not a peace loving country. Our attack on Iraq was not provoked nor was it warrantied
We have pushed our polices in the middle east for many years to gain control of oil, and we have done the same in Asian countries to gain political clout...

Our government is geared for war as directed by transnational corporations, domestic industries, and the corporate media.

Both branches of our One Party system, Democrat and Republican, favor the use of force to have their way. Consider,

* (2) Regime Change in Guatemala (1954) military government for democratically elected Arbenz; Eisenhower (R);

One simple answer. Islam. You haven't figured this out by now? The Muslim religion is very violent, and the religion is all about revenge, submission, and control. This is why there are no Muslim Democratic countries.
