I agree with you about Minimalism rehobothbeac...but are you sure things will become anachronistic? From a personal point of view they seem to me to change colours but not much in the style now

As a general aesthetic or in one particular area such as architecture?

In general, my tastes run to clean minimalist lines, which don't necessarily have to be angular. I don't care for overly decorated pieces that are simply their to "dress something up" as opposed to being part of the larger aesthetic. Paladian windows on post20th century vinyl sided McMansions actually annoy the hell out of me

However that said tastes change and what is futuristic today will be anachronistic tomorrow. Just look at the modernist and futurist movements from 1900 to 1970 and note the changes.

Finally, what I do hope is that futurism will incorporate environmentalism within in its designs
