Everytime they have tried, the threat of firings has quickly stopped them from proceeding.

Read this: Walmart is notorious for union busting. They've taken measures to keep all unions out of their stores. Today, I heard on the radio that there had been a union finally formed in a Canadian Walmart, but that Walmart would be closed rather than allow a union to form.

A prime example of the controlling ruling corporate structure sticking to employee/workers Making huge profits for the remaining Walton family members who pay some corporate heads whom live well,but the worker bee's making everything move don't get enough to purchase their cheap China manufactured crap! Unions are pretty corrupt these days, a better question is Why doesn't Wal-mart pay a living wage in step with the pricing index a consumer has to pay $20.00 per hour or more!

Wal Mart has very effective union busting. They have hired professionals to squelch out unions and they have firing tactics to. I saw a great documenatary on it heres a link

Because Wal Mart knows that Unions are the Enemy of profits!

No one should be forced to be in or deal with a union.

The union has a right to exist but Wal Mart should have the right to not deal with it.

If all the staff from wall mart, and Asda here in the UK were in the same union, and something happened, causing the union to ask for a strike, Wall Mart would be shafted, where else could you get that many staff?

Because unions are the enemy of prosperity, as all collectivist marxist foolishness is.

Take a look at the domestic automobile industry to see why unions are an impediment to success.
