Well aside from the fact that it is against God's will, most of God's rules are for our protection. Premarital sex can be emotionally risky. Let's not even delve into the physical risks it may involve. I suppose the relationship you have with your partner plays a big role in how you deal with it, but from my experience it caused more heartbreak than it did joy.

Depends on where you come from. Christians as well as just about any other religion say its wrong. But yet only 19% of people wait till they are married. If you want to know the truth sex messes up a relationship.

It's awfully easy to give in to the temptation of lust and even try to reciprocate the love you feel for a mate, but it is forbidden, a sin and also upsets the delicate balance of God's plan. This is coming from someone who paid the price for it for years and then started to abstain. It got harder but I made it. God gave us all the desires and created sex...it is sooo goooood! BUT we are to tame it and when the time is right (after marriage) set it loose baby! You will will will be rewarded for your longsuffering. I advise you to abstain. If you have a hard time saying "no" do not let the person to whom you're attracted into your house...go outside and talk to him or her, or try not to spend time alone. Joshua Harris' book "I Kissed Dating Goodbye" helped me. I couldn't do all that he advised, but it helped my dirty mind grow into a new perspective. That and a lot of substanance from the LORD, accountability to my journal and having fluffy things nearby to pet. When you decide to say no to premarital sex, it will become easier and easier but be a challenge when you find that right one who you know could press your buttons.
