There is always a fight with kids when you try to regulate everything. But you are the father and you decide what is best. Make up a reasonable schedule and inforce it. Know that the fights are inevitable, but don't allow the fights to get out of hand. Let them know who is the boss and that there will be no arguing about it

First prioritize by making the computer available to all kids for homework first, then allocate more computer game time to the best student of the week or month --- it encourages the lessor student to improve in order to gain more game time.

Get the power general. Then tell them that you can not change it when it shuts down. I know cause I have two teen girls that love to chat on IM. It works and there is no fight after the first one. Sorry you will have to fight one more time.

if its kids fighting do it by the hour say you stick it on at 12 mid day that kid gets it till 1pm the next kid gets it at 2pm etc etc if its between you and the kid and he wants to play computer while you watch tv get him a tv in his room and set it up there and they only allowed on it aslong as room is tidy and all homework if any is done also it works well in my house and im a dad of 3

You're in charge... they play when you say. Also try getting them into other activities, like horse back riding, karate, soccer. They'll forget all about the video games.

Just discotect the computer and video games and tell them you broke them while you were cleaning. Trust me it will work.
