what is the nicest area in De Hague / NL...?

...to live in? I am moving there in December and will have to start looking into places soon. what are the best websites to find appartments for rent?
I speak dutch fluently, so that shouldn't be a problem...

Nice areas:
Zeeheldenkwartier (somewhat trendy, affordable, near center of town)
Statenkwartier (upper middle class and near Scheveningen, bit snooty)
Vogelbuurt (upper middle class, away from center)
The strip between Laan van Meerdervoort and Groothertoginnelaan, and the streets in that general area.
Neutral:
Bomenbuurt, Bloemenbuurt (away from center, affordable, and quiet)
Oud Centrum (down town. Some great areas and some terrible ones)
Poor areas: Schilderswijk, Spoorwijk, Laak kwartier.
But whatever you do, don't say yes to something you haven't seen. The good areas all have a few poor strreets. Even a single street can have good and poor areas, block by block. I don't know of any other city that's this tricky.
I'm afraid there aren't really any good websites for rentals. You can have a look at www.funda.nl for an impression however. Funda lists hundreds of houses and apartments for sale in The Hague, with plenty of pictures. You can also Google for rental agencies - there are none that I trust and can recommend.

I don't know about the best places to live in Den Haag, but I can tell you that Scheveningen (located at the edge of Den Haag) is right on the coast and a beautiful little town. I have vacationed there on several occasions and would live there over Den Haag if I had to choose.
