No. A look at the most popular movies of all times proves it...but the Hollywood folk are slow learners. They continue to assume that nudity makes more money.

In my opinion I do no think that it is nessesary. I wish they would leave something to the imagination. But in todays world nobody wants to think for themself so they need it spelled out or thrown in there face to get the picture. Now a days they need the nudity to bring in the (no offense guys) young adult males.

No, in fact, I believe that nudity in a movie detracts from the film itself. An example of this is Underworld: Evolution. There was no need for any of the nudity in it. It is a vampire vs. lycons movie, not a romance.

Do we want Hollywood to portray real life events or act as if people do not get naked and have sex?
Now, I do believe there are tasteful approaches when exhibiting nudity in films.

Not at all necessary. There's a lot of movies with nudity but there's also a lot of great movies without.

no, there are many good films without it. however, if films are to be realistic, they must reflect the actions of real people and what they do in real life.
