Yes Yes Yes!!!
A few years back, we had mice in our garage, so my mother put Di-con in various spots in the garage. The Di-con pack has something in it that attracts the mice to eat it. According to the package, the mice eat it and just go off and die. No fuss no
muss. It didn't tell you to make sure they die outside because
they will smell. Well our luck had it that the mice died where they wanted to in the garage. I don't remember exactly how long after, but long enough that we forgot about them, when we began to smell a strange odor in the garage that got worse and
worse especially on hot days. The smell lingered for years in
every item in the garage. Even after we found the dead mice
and got rid of them and whatever they died in, the smell still
remained. The smell is indescribable. This is my experience
anyway. Hope this helps answer your question.

i'd truly attempt to remove the corpse first . the most acceptable and least puzzling answer to taking away smells is somewhat carbon scent absorber said as refrigerator-IT. It really does what it says it truly is going to do. i'd purchase a pair and merely position it on a shelf contained in the closet. No chemical substances and no stinky fragrances. This receives rid of the odors undemanding and quickly.

Yes, they do if they die in your house. They can smell really bad. If you are lucky they will make it outside before they die.

yes they do, and once you smell it you never forget. The smell can last for days. I would use traps that can be checked everyday.

Sometimes they do. If this happens...they are probably in a cabinet or in the wall somewhere.
