Basebal is played all over the americas (Central and South included) as well as in Asia. Baseball is very popular in Japan, Korea and Taiwan, cultures which differ greatly than America's.
I'm not aware of American football being enjoyed anywhere else but in the US and to some degree, Canada.

Baseball has been widely accepted, or you wouldn't see it played in the Summer Olympics. Japan, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, and many other countries have adopted baseball as a national sport. There was even talk of preseason games involving MLB teams playing against foreign national teams.
Football by name is in contention due to soccer fans worldwide. However, there is a large (and still growing) market for American Football overseas, since the NFL took over the World League and made it a developmental system (like a baseball farm system) and dubbed it NFL European League. Also, there has been a increase of foreign born players who go to college on football scholarships and end up being drafted by professional teams. Also, there have been variations of the sport that have also garnered popularity (CFL, Arena Football, NIFL).
Besides, just because other cultures may not accept the forms of games we enjoy, it shouldn't matter one bit. The same can be said vice versa, but it doesn't bother them at all.

Well..... There are many people who have told you about baseball. We also all know about the Canadian Football league.
How about the World League of American Football from 1991 and 1992. There were teams in London (the Monarchs), Barcelona (the Dragons), Montreal (the Machine) and Frankfurt (the Galaxy).
There is also an NFL Europe now. This league has Amsterdam (the Admirals), Frankfort (the Galaxy), Rhein (the Fire), Cologne (the Centurions), Hamburg (the Sea Devils), Berlin (the Thunder)

American Football is played in Canada (CFL) and in NFL Europe. Baseball is played all over. And America doesn't just appreciate our form of the games. We play a lot of other sports from different cultures...Lacrosse, Soccer (Futbol), Hockey.

because the USA is where they had football and baseball first. im pretty sure that some football team in europe cant beat the giants. soccer however is different. soccer is the most popular sport in the world and even if a MLS team wins the championship here, they still dont have the right to call themselves "world" champions.
