pls differentiate COBOL from C language

COBOL isn't exactly dead. Lots of companies have millions of lines of COBOL that hums along, waiting to be replaced as soon as the search committee settles on a relational data base and a GUI interface to it.

COBOL (COmmon Business Orientated Language) was one of the first computer languages designed to run on main frame computers. It is rarely used anymore today. C is a much newer and much more powerful language that is probably "the" computer language today. Beyond the "C" as the first letter in their name, there is little similarity between the two languages.

cobol is a high level program for busness porpus
c is a low- mid level progarm for system programming
linux -windoes on pc and simbian on the mobile phone programmed with c or c++
c live and use last c version is c#
cobol dead and nobody programmed with cobol today
very importand c is prtable from main to micro computer
