Someone who will listen to your problems and will never judge u even if u have done wrong. They will be there for u no matter what. They don't get jealous when good things start happening to u. Even if u don't talk for a while they don't funny just pick up where u left off and fill each other in on all the gossip! u can talk to them about everything even silly little things that mean nothing to anyone else!
Of course friendship is a 2way street and all i add is treat your Friends they way u want to be treated and if your friends are good people u shouldn't get hurt!

a friend is someone who is really close to ur heart who understands u and ur feelings . A friend is a person whom u trust and can share everything whith them even things that u cannot share with ur family and that is why friends are very important in ones life just like a family is important

someone you can trust. someone who is kind to you, and puts up with you when they have to. someone who makes the effort to call you if they cant meet up with you, someone who you can talk to without being totally judged.
who is my friend? my best friend is Jesus. He does all this and more :-)
