pls solve this

1) 7y/(y-2)(y+2) + 5/y-2 = 2y/(y-2)(y+2)

2) 4x/(x+4)(x-4) + 5/x+4 = 5x/(x+4)(x-4)

3) 4/x+4 = -5/(x-4)(x+4) + 1

thank you!!!

#1: we start with this
7y/(y-2)(y+2) + 5/y-2 = 2y/(y-2)(y+2)
multiply both sides by (y-2)(y+2)
7y+5(y+2)=2y
distribute
7y+5y+10=2y
collect like terms
10y=-10
divide
y=-1

#2: 4x/(x+4)(x-4) + 5/x+4 = 5x/(x+4)(x-4)
4x+5(x-4)=5x
4x+5x-20=5x
4x=20
x=5

#3: 4/x+4 = -5/(x-4)(x+4) + 1
4(x-4)=-5 + (x-4)(x+4)
4x-16=-5+x²-16
0=x²-4x-5
9=x²-4x+4
9=(x-2)²
x-2=±√9
x=2±3
x=-1 or 5

Edit: sorry, I made an error on the last problem when I first answered. It's fixed now.

1) 7y/(y-2)(y+2) + 5/y-2 = 2y/(y-2)(y+2)

7y/((y-2)(y+2)) + 5/(y-2) = 2y/(y-2)(y+2)

multiply both sides by (y+2)(y-2)

7y + 5(y+2) = 2y 7y + 5y +10 = 2y 10y = -10 y = -1

2) 4x/(x+4)(x-4) + 5/x+4 = 5x/(x+4)(x-4)

4x/(x+4)(x-4) + 5/x+4 = 5x/(x+4)(x-4)

multiply both sides by (x+4)(x-4)

4x + 5(x-4) = 5x 4x + 5x - 20 = 5x 4x = 20 x = 5

3) 4/x+4 = -5/(x-4)(x+4) + 1

4/x+4 = -5/(x-4)(x+4) + 1

multiply both sides by (x+4)(x-4)

4(x-4) = -5 + 1(x+4)(x-4) 4x-16 = -5 +x^2-16

x^2 - 4x -5 = 0 (x-5)(x+1) = 0 x-5 = 0 x= 5 x+1 = 0 x = -1

answers

1) y = -1

2) x = 5

3) x = 5 x = -1

by the way ali 1+x^2 - 4x -5 = 0+1 x^2 -4x -4 = 1

the correct way is:

9 + x^2 - 4x - 5 = 0+ 9 x^2 - 4x + 4 = 9 (x-2)^2 = 9

(x-2) = +3 or -3 x-2 = 3 x = 5 x-2 = -3 x= -1

1)
7y/(y-2)(y+2) + 5/y-2 = 2y/(y-2)(y+2)
7y+5(y+2)=2y
7y+5y+10=2y
10y=-10
y=-1

2): 4x/(x+4)(x-4) + 5/x+4 = 5x/(x+4)(x-4)
4x+5(x-4)=5x
4x+5x-20=5x
4x=20
x=5

3) 4/x+4 = -5/(x-4)(x+4) + 1
4(x-4)=-5 + (x-4)(x+4)
4x-16=-5+x²-16
0=x²-4x-5

1)7y/(y-2)(y+2) +5/(y-2)=2y/(y-2)(y+2)
Let us now make the denominator unity, first.
Multiply both sides by (y-2)(y+2)
7y+5(y+2)=2y
7y+5y+10=2y
12y+10=2y
12y-2y+10=0
10y+10=0
10y=-10
y=-10/10
y=-1

2)4x/(x+4)(x-4)+5/(x+4)=5x/(x+4)(x-4)
4x+5(x-4)=5x
4x+5x-20=5x
9x-20=5x
9x-5x-20=0
4x-20=0
4x=20
x=20/4
x=5

3)4/(x+4)=-5/(x+4)(x-4)+1
4(x-4)=-5+(x-4)(x+4)
4x-16=-5+x^2-16
-5+x^2-16=4x-16
-5+x^2=4x
x^2-4x-5=0
x^2-5x+x-5=0
x(x-5)+1(x-5)=0
(x-5)(x+1)=0
x-5=0 or x+1=0
x=5 or -1
