Have you read the hugely successful book, if so, likely the movie can't match the success of the book, but then most movies can't --- however being aware of that fact, why not watch the movie? It's made by first rate connections...the reason that i would go to see it is because there are so many Christian organizations trying very hard to keep people from seeing it....I say see it because you need the truth from whatever source. Go see it and make up your own mind rather than let others do it for you.

The book was quite good, but I havent seen the movie. Why dont you read the book first then decide yourself if it is worth seeing the movie.

If you've read the book, and want to watch it for fun, no. Go watch X-Men3 or something. If you want watch it for the sake of the book, because you feel that it was moving then yes. If you havent read the book... Go read it.
